The tunic is a garment with a long history – a firm favourite for both men and women in ancient times. The Romans and Greeks wore tunics which were simple to make from two pieces of fabric. Nowadays, the modern ladies' tunic has come a long way from these ancient garments. The modern tunic is characterised by its length, which comes down to the hips or even below.
